At Thayer Design Studio, we are designers too. That's why we’re dedicated to making your design experience seamless with quick responses, flexible options, and a hands-on approach from start to finish.

We’ll work closely with you to achieve a truly custom piece, tailored to your needs and vision.

THE CUSTOM PROCESS

Choose Your Design: Select from our existing designs or send us an inspiration image to work from.

Choose Your Colors: Explore our yarn library and choose from any of our 26 available colors.

Custom Strike-Off: A 7” sample is created, taking about two weeks to complete.

Scaled Drawing: Once sizing is confirmed, we provide a scaled drawing for review.

Template Needed?: If your design involves an irregular shape or multiple cut-outs, we will contact a third party for a template quote.

Payment Applied: After reviewing and approving the drawing, specs, and quote, payment is processed.

Production Begins: Your order enters production

Approval Image: Once your order is complete, we send an image for approval prior to shipment

Shipment: Your order is shipped and tracking is provided. All orders ship via Fed Ex freight or UPS.
